My name is Marcus and I am a California based Storyboard artist. I have worked on commercials different studios which include Buckaroo Studios and LAtelier Marketing, music videos for different artist including Logic and short films that have gotten the Highest Commendation at London-Worldwide Comedy Short Film Festival and official selection at El Paso Film Festival.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Moby - Short Film (Freelance Storyboard Artist)

Worked with the Director to execute her vision of the story. Reviewed and incorporated feedback from director to the final product. Produced thumbnails, roughs and final version on a timely manner to meet the deadline.

Buckaroo Studios, Inc - Commercial (Freelance Storyboard Artist)

Completed storyboards for seven commercials for Director and Producer on a rushed deadline for Pro-Form workout equipment. Pitch boards and received feedback to improve storyboards for final product.

LAtelier Marketing - Commercial (Freelance Storyboard Artist)

Created 35 clean commercial boards while working with art director. Complete revisions in a timely manner.

Last Man on Earth - (Freelance Storyboard Artist)

Responsible for board 1000+ board for entire script. Storyboard special effects and action sequences. Helped problem solve story issues and worked directly with the director.

Hipster Romance - Short Film (Freelance Storyboard Artist)

Created 8 specific beat boards the director wanted to use for inspiration of how he was going to shoot the film. Went above what the director asked for by boarding out the entire script in addition to giving him the beat boards.

LAtelier Marketing - Commercial (Freelance Storyboard Artist)

Created 60+ clean commercial boards in two days and presented in the format the client requested for first commercial and created 29 commercial boards in same day as requested in the clean and professional format the client requested for second commercial.

Dan Winters Photography - Magazine Ad (Freelance Storyboard Artist)

Responsible for 10 conceptual storyboards in 1 Day. Worked closely with the photographer to bring his ideas to life.

LAtelier Marketing – Commercial (Freelance Storyboard Artist)

Responsible for Storyboarding 20 commercial storyboards in 1 Day. Presented the final boards in the requested format the client requested.

Thirteen - Short Film (Freelance Storyboard Artist)

Responsible for Storyboarding 10 pages in 2 Days, problem solving story issues when they arrived. I enjoyed pitching and bouncing ideas off the director.

Logic – Young Jesus - Music Video (Freelance Storyboard Artist)

Responsible for Storyboarding and pitching new ideas to the director, problem solving shot issues when they arrived.
